THE DAVE
David Beaton is a Metro Detroit based photographer & videographer.
Growing up across the border, somewhere near the bright & shining Windsor, Ontario, Canada, I didn’t know it until it was pointed out to me that I had a fascination with visual relationships. Both photography and videography are mediums for visual storytelling. The subject matter that we choose to include or exclude and their arrangement in the scene gives it purpose and helps to write a story of its own.
It is my passion to notice the things that make each story, image, & video compelling & unique. I leverage these details using my education & experience, as well as my knowledge of design & composition & their harmony together to turn a normal “picture” into something that holds our attention.
